Marketa Luskacova (b. 1944) studied Sociology of Culture at Charles University, Prague 1967, where she accompanied her thesis, on the traditional form of religion in Slovakia, with her own photographs of pilgrims. From 1967 - 1969 she studied photography at the FAMU, Prague. Since 1968 she hasworked as a freelance photographer.
